The clients for this project were a young family looking to build a relaxed family beach home with a modern aesthetic. I was engaged to complete full interior design services being; all joinery designs, finishes & fixtures selections and soft furnishings. A palette of whites and cool greys create both continuity and contrast throughout the home and is softened by the use of walnut timber veneer in the joinery and the furnishings. Textures such as the navy blue grassweave wallpaper, fireplace stone cladding and subtle weaves through rugs and fabrics pay tribute to the relaxed coastal beach lifestyle.
